பிரேர்னா திட்டம் / PRERNA SCHEME

• இளம் தாய்மார்கள் மற்றும் கைக்குழந்தைகளின் ஆரோக்கிய நலன் கருதி பெண் குழந்தைகளின் திருமண வயதை அதிகரிக்கவும், குழந்தைகளின் பிறப்புக்கு இடமளிக்கவும் உதவும் வகையில், ஜன்சங்க்யா ஸ்திரதா கோஷ் (தேசிய மக்கள்தொகை உறுதிப்படுத்தல் நிதி) - MoHFW, அரசாங்கத்தின் தன்னாட்சி அமைப்பு. 
• இந்தியாவின் பிஹார், உத்தரப் பிரதேசம், மத்தியப் பிரதேசம், சத்தீஸ்கர், ஜார்கண்ட், ஒடிசா மற்றும் ராஜஸ்தான் ஆகிய ஏழு மாநிலங்களில் உள்ள அனைத்து மாவட்டங்களிலும் பொறுப்பான பெற்றோருக்கான உத்தியை PRERNA தொடங்கியுள்ளது.
• ஆரம்பகால திருமணம், முன்கூட்டிய பிரசவம் மற்றும் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் குழந்தை பிறப்பு என்ற ஒரே மாதிரியை உடைத்து சமூகத்தின் மனநிலையை மாற்ற உதவிய தம்பதிகளை இந்த உத்தி அங்கீகரித்து விருதுகளை வழங்குகிறது.
• இந்தத் திட்டம் BPL குடும்பங்களுக்கு மட்டுமே.

முக்கியமான நிபந்தனைகள்

• தம்பதிகள் பிபிஎல் குடும்பத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவராக இருக்க வேண்டும்
• பெண்ணின் வயது 30 வயதுக்கு மிகாமல் இருக்க வேண்டும்
• பெண்ணுக்கு 19 வருடங்கள் கழித்து திருமணம் நடந்திருக்க வேண்டும்
• திருமணமாகி குறைந்தது 2 வருடங்களுக்குப் பிறகு முதல் குழந்தை பிறப்பு
• முதல் குழந்தை பிறந்து குறைந்தது 3 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு இரண்டாவது குழந்தை பிறப்பு
• இரண்டாவது குழந்தை பிறந்து ஒரு வருடத்திற்குள் நிரந்தர குடும்பக் கட்டுப்பாட்டு முறையை பெற்றோர்கள் தாமாக முன்வந்து ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறார்கள்

ENGLISH

• In order to help push up the age of marriage of girls and space the birth of children in the interest of health of young mothers and infants, Jansankhya Sthirata Kosh (National Population Stabilization Fund) - an autonomous body of the MoHFW, Govt. of India has launched PRERNA, a Responsible Parenthood Strategy in all districts of seven focus states namely Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Rajasthan.
• The strategy recognizes and awards couples who have broken the stereotype of early marriage, early childbirth and repeated child birth and have helped change the mindsets of the community.
• The scheme is meant only for BPL families.

Important Conditions

• Couple must belong to BPL family
• Age of lady should not exceed 30 years
• The girl should have been married after 19 years
• First child birth after at least 2 years of marriage
• Second child birth after at least 3 years of the first child birth
• Either parent voluntarily accepts permanent method of family planning within one year of the second child birth
