- மூங்கில் சாகுபடி பரப்பளவை அதிகரித்தல், விவசாயிகளின் வருமானத்தை இரண்டு மடங்காக்குதல்,
- காடுகள் அல்லாத அரசு மற்றும் தனியார் நிலங்களில் மூங்கில் வளர்ப்பை அதிகரித்தல்.
- விவசாயிகளுக்கான மூங்கில் வணிகம் பற்றிய பயிற்சி வழங்குதல்
- மூங்கில் சார்ந்த சிறுதொழில் அபிவிருத்தி மற்றும் ஏற்றுமதி பயிற்சி,
- 1 லட்சம் ஹெக்டேர் அளவிற்கு மூங்கில் சாகுபடி பரப்பை அதிகரிக்க இலக்கு நிர்ணயம்,
- நேரடியாகவோ அல்லது மறைமுகமாகவோ 1 லட்சம் விவசாயிகள் பலனடைவார்கள், நாடு முழுவதும் 329 மூங்கில் நாற்றாங்கால்கள் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறது,
- முதல் ஆண்டு ரூ.4,000 மானியமாக ஒரு ஹெக்டேருக்கும். அடுத்த ஆண்டு முதல் வளர்ச்சிக்கு ஏற்றவாறும் மானியம் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
- பின்னேற்பு மானியமாக ரூ.25,000 விவசாயிகளுக்கும், பொது இடங்களுக்கு ரூ.50,000 வழங்கப்படுகிறது. இதற்கென ரூ.1,290 கோடி நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. அருகில் உள்ள தோட்டக்கலைத்துறை அலுவலகம் www.nbm.nic.in நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு தொடர்புக்கு இணையம்
- மூங்கில் சாகுபடி இதுவரை 7,337 ஹெக்டேர் சாகுபடி நடைபெற்றுள்ளது. (Dec, 2021)

- Increasing cultivation of bamboo in non-forest government and private lands.
- Providing training on bamboo business to farmers
- Bamboo Small Business Development and Export Training,
- Setting a target to increase the area under bamboo cultivation to 1 lakh hectares,
- 1 lakh farmers will be benefited directly or indirectly, 329 bamboo nurseries have been established across the country.
- Rs.4,000 subsidy per hectare in the first year. The subsidy is also given on a growth basis from next year onwards.
