• மனித வள மேம்பாட்டு அமைச்சகம் ஆண்டுதோறும், நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள உயர் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களின் கற்றல், கற்பித்தல், வளங்கள், ஆராய்ச்சி, தொழில்முறை நடைமுறைகள், பட்டப்படிப்பு முடிவுகள் ஆகியவை உள்ளடக்கிய தரவரிசை பட்டியலை வெளியிட்டு வருகிறது. 
• அதன்படி, பல்கலை கழகங்கள், கல்லூரி, ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம், இன்ஜினீயரிங், மேலாண்மை, பார்மசி, மருத்துவம், பல் மருத்துவம், சட்டம் என பல்வேறு பிரிவுகளில் சிறந்த விளங்கும் நிறுவனங்களின் தரவரிசையை வெளியிடுகிறது. 
• கடந்த 2016ம் ஆண்டு முதல் இந்த தரவரிசை பட்டியல் வெளியிடப்பட்டு வரும் நிலையில், 2022ம் ஆண்டுக்கான தரவரிசை பட்டியலை ஒன்றிய மனித வள மேம்பாட்டு அமைச்சகம் வெளியிட்டு இருக்கிறது.
• அந்தவகையில், ஒட்டுமொத்த தரவரிசையில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ள 100 கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில், சென்னை ஐஐடி முதல் இடத்தை பெற்றுள்ளது. 2வது இடத்தில் பெங்களூருவில் உள்ள இந்திய அறிவியல் நிறுவனமும், 3வது இடத்தில் மும்பை ஐஐடியும் பிடித்துள்ளது. 
• இந்த தரவரிசையில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள கோவை அம்ரிதா விஷ்வா வித்யபீதம் 16வது இடத்திலும், வேலூர் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனம் (வி.ஐ.டி.) 18வது இடத்திலும், திருச்சி தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனம் 21வது இடத்திலும், அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகம் 22வது இடத்திலும், கோவை பாரதியார் பல்கலைக்கழகம் 24வது இடத்திலும் இருக்கிறது.
• இந்த ஒட்டுமொத்த தரவரிசையில் சென்னை ஐ.ஐ.டி. தொடர்ந்து 4வது முறையாக ஒட்டு மொத்த தரவரிசையில் முதல் இடத்தை தக்க வைத்துள்ளது. 4 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு, அதாவது 2018ம் ஆண்டு 2வது இடத்தில் இருந்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. 
• அதேபோல், கடந்த ஆண்டில் 25வது இடத்தில் இருந்த அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகம், இந்த ஆண்டு சற்று முன்னேற்றம் கண்டுள்ளது. பல்கலைக்கழக பட்டியலை பொறுத்தவரையில், 100 பல்கலைக்கழக பட்டியலில் பெங்களூரு இந்திய அறிவியல் நிறுவனம் முதல் இடத்தை பெற்றுள்ளது. 
• அந்த வரிசையில் தமிழ்நாட்டை சேர்ந்த அம்ரிதா விஷ்வா வித்யபீடம் 5வது இடத்திலும், வி.ஐ.டி. 9வது இடத்திலும், பாரதியார் பல்கலைக்கழகம் 15வது இடத்திலும், எஸ்.ஆர்.எம். அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனம் 19வது இடத்திலும், அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகம் 20வது இடத்திலும் இருக்கிறது.
• கல்லூரிகளின் தரவரிசையில் டெல்லி மிராண்டா ஹவுஸ் நிறுவனம் முதல் இடத்தை பெற்றிருக்கிறது. இதே வரிசையில் மாநிலக் கல்லூரி 3வது இடத்திலும், லயோலா கல்லூரி 4வது இடத்திலும் என சில கல்லூரிகள் இடம் பெற்றுள்ளன. 
• ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவன தரவரிசையில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள சென்னை ஐ.ஐ.டி. 2வது இடத்தையும், வி.ஐ.டி. 10வது இடத்தையும், அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகம் 21வது இடத்தையும் பெற்றுள்ளது. 
• இன்ஜினியரிங் பட்டியலில், 100 கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் முதல் இடத்தை சென்னை ஐ.ஐ.டி. தொடர்ந்து 5வது முறையாக தக்க வைத்துள்ளது. இதில் தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனம் 8வது இடத்திலும், வி.ஐ.டி. 12வது இடத்திலும், அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகம் 17வது இடத்திலும் உள்ளது.
• இதேபோல், மேலாண்மை பிரிவில் சென்னை ஐ.ஐ.டி. 10வது இடத்திலும், பார்மசி பிரிவில் ஊட்டி ஜே.எஸ்.எஸ். பார்மசி கல்லூரி 6வது இடத்திலும், எஸ்.ஆர்.எம். அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனம் 1வது இடத்திலும், அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகம் 15வது இடத்திலும், பல் மருத்துவம் பிரிவில் சவீதா மருத்துவம் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப அறிவியல் நிறுவனம் முதல் இடத்திலும், எஸ்.ஆர்.எம். பல் மருத்துவ கல்லூரி 8வது இடத்திலும், சட்டப் பிரிவில் சவீதா மருத்துவம் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப அறிவியல் நிறுவனம் 14வது இடத்திலும், தஞ்சாவூர் சண்முகா கலை அறிவியல் தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி கல்வி 19வது இடத்திலும், கட்டிடப்பிரிவில் தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனம் 5வது இடத்திலும், எஸ்.ஆர்.எம். அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனம் 11வது இடத்திலும் தமிழ்நாட்டை சேர்ந்த கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.
• மருத்துவம் சார்ந்த தரவரிசையில், வேலூர் கிறிஸ்தவ கல்லூரி 3வது இடத்தையும், அம்ரிதா விஷ்வா வித்யபீதா 8வது இடத்தையும், சென்னை மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி 12வது இடத்தையும், ராமச்சந்திரா உயர்கல்வி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் 15வது இடத்தையும், எஸ்.ஆர்.எம். அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனம் 20வது இடத்தையும் பெற்றிருக்கிறது. இதில் சென்னை மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி கடந்த ஆண்டைவிட 4 இடங்கள் முன்னேறியுள்ளது.

• Every year, the Ministry of Human Resource Development publishes a ranking list of higher education institutions across the country covering learning, teaching, resources, research, professional practices and graduation results.
• Accordingly, it publishes the ranking of best institutions in various categories like Universities, Colleges, Research Institutes, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, Law.
• While this ranking list has been published since 2016, the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development has published the ranking list for the year 2022.
• Accordingly, among the 100 educational institutes in the overall ranking, IIT Chennai has secured the first position. Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru is at the 2nd position and IIT Mumbai is at the 3rd position.
• In this ranking, Coimbatore Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth in Tamil Nadu is at 16th place, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is at 18th place, National Institute of Technology Trichy is at 21st place, Anna University is at 22nd place and Bharatiyar University of Coimbatore is at 24th place.
• In this overall ranking, I.I.T. Chennai It has retained the top spot in the overall rankings for the 4th time in a row. It is noteworthy that 4 years ago, i.e. 2018, it was at the 2nd position.
• Similarly, Anna University, which was ranked 25th last year, has seen a slight improvement this year. As far as the university list is concerned, the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has been ranked first in the list of 100 universities.
• In that order, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeedam from Tamil Nadu is at the 5th place and V.I.T. 9th position, Bharatiyar University at 15th position, S.R.M. Institute of Science and Technology is ranked 19th and Anna University is ranked 20th.
• Delhi's Miranda House has been ranked first in the ranking of colleges. In the same order, State College is at 3rd place and Loyola College is at 4th place.
• IIT Chennai in Tamil Nadu in Research Institute Ranking 2nd place and V.I.T. 10th rank and Anna University got 21st rank.
• In the list of engineering, IIT Chennai has been ranked first among 100 institutes. Retained for the 5th time in a row. In this, National Institute of Technology is at 8th place and V.I.T. 12th and Anna University at 17th.
• Similarly, I.I.T. Chennai in management department. At 10th place, Ooty JSS in Pharmacy category. College of Pharmacy is ranked 6th and S.R.M. Institute of Science and Technology is ranked 1st, Annamalai University is ranked 15th, Savita Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences is ranked 1st in Dentistry, S.R.M. College of Dentistry is ranked 8th, Savita Institute of Medicine and Technical Sciences is ranked 14th in Law category, Thanjavur Sanmukha Arts Science Technology and Research Education is ranked 19th, National Institute of Technology is ranked 5th in Architecture category, S.R.M. Institute of Science and Technology is at the 11th place and educational institutions from Tamil Nadu are there.
• In the medical ranking, Vellore Christian College was ranked 3rd, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetha was ranked 8th, Chennai Medical College was ranked 12th, Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research was ranked 15th, S.R.M. Institute of Science and Technology has also secured 20th rank. In this, Chennai Medical College has advanced 4 places compared to last year.
