Rs 43,000 crore on first day of IPL broadcasting rights auction

  • The IPL broadcasting rights have reached Rs 43,000 crore in the first day of the auction. That means the auction for only 2 of the 4 categories ended today.
  • "Package 1" is priced at around Rs 23,370 crore, while "Package 2" is priced at Rs. 19,680 crore has gone to auction. Now every match in the IPL is worth Rs 105 crore. The IPL is now the next step for the American National Football League.
