Discovery green moss beads on Keeladi
- Phase 8 excavations are underway at the Keeladi near Thiruppuvanam, Sivagangai district. In the 7 pits dug in the new place in the keeladi excavation, small and large moss beads, round chips and clay pot tiles are found.
- Similarly, in the ongoing excavation of the alphabet, 4 pits are being dug and 2 casing wells are being found. Two pits were dug in the culvert and 21 old miners were found in the same place. Excavators said they found some ancient green moss beads in the new pit below.
