• ஐரோப்பிய நாடான லண்டனை சேர்ந்த, 'க்வாக்குவாரெலி சைமண்ட்ஸ்' என்ற ஆய்வு நிறுவனம், சர்வதேச அளவிலான பல்கலைக்கழகங்களின் தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலை ஆண்டு தோறும் வெளியிட்டு வருகிறது.
• இதில் இடம்பெறுவது மிகப்பெரிய கவுரமாக கருதப்படுகிறது. இந்நிலையில், 2023ம் ஆண்டுக்கான தரவரிசைப் பட்டியல் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• இதில் இந்திய பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் குறித்த விபரம்: இந்தப் பட்டியலில், ஐ.ஐ.டி., எனப்படும் இந்திய தொழில்நுட்ப கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் மட்டுமே தொடர்ந்து ஆதிக்கம் செலுத்தி வருகின்றன. 
• இந்நிலையில், இந்த ஆண்டு கர்நாடகாவின் பெங்களூருவை சேர்ந்த, 'இந்தியன் இன்ஸ்டிடியூட் ஆப் சயின்ஸ்' நிறுவனம், 186வது இடத்தில் இருந்து 31 புள்ளிகள் முன்னேறி 155வது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. 
• மும்பை மற்றும் டில்லி ஐ.ஐ.டி.,க்கள் 172 மற்றும் 174வது இடத்தை பிடித்துள்ளன. உலகின் முதல் 200 பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் நம் நாட்டை சேர்ந்த இந்த மூன்று கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் மட்டுமே இடம்பிடித்துள்ளன. 
• இதை தவிர, முதல் 500 பல்கலைகளின் பட்டியலில் சென்னை, கான்பூர், கரக்பூர், ரூர்கி, கவுஹாத்தி, இந்துார் ஐ.ஐ.டி.,க்கள் இடம்பிடித்துள்ளன. 
• உலக அளவில் முதல் 1,000 சிறந்த பல்கலைகளின் தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில் நம் நாட்டை சேர்ந்த பல்கலைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை, 22ல் இருந்து 27 ஆக உயர்ந்துள்ளது.

• Details about Indian Universities: In this list, only Indian Technical Education Institutions (IITs) continue to dominate. This year, the Indian Institute of Science, based in Bangalore, Karnataka, jumped 31 points from 186th to 155th place this year.
• Mumbai and Delhi IITs are ranked 172nd and 174th respectively. Only these three educational institutions from our country are ranked in the top 200 universities in the world.
• Apart from this, IITs Chennai, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Roorkee, Guwahati and Indore are included in the list of top 500 universities.
• The number of universities in our country has risen from 22 to 27 in the ranking of the top 1,000 best universities in the world.
