அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு காலை நேரத்தில் சிற்றுண்டி வழங்கும் திட்டம் / Breakfast Program for Government School Students

• அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு இனிமேல் காலை நேரத்தில் சிற்றுண்டி வழங்கப்படும். நகரப் பகுதிகளிலும், கிராமப் பகுதிகளிலும் பள்ளிக்கு செல்லக்கூடிய குழந்தைகள் காலையிலேயே புறப்பட்டு விடுகிறார்கள். 
• இதனால் பெரும்பாலான குழந்தைகள் காலை உணவு சாப்பிடுவது இல்லை என்ற தகவல் அரசுக்கு கிடைத்திருக்கிறது.
• பள்ளிகள் மிகத் தூரமாக இருப்பது மட்டுமல்ல, சிலருடைய குடும்ப சூழலும் இதற்குக் காரணமாக இருக்கிறது. இதனை மனதில் வைத்துக் கொண்டு இந்தத் திட்டத்தை நாம் தீட்டி இருக்கிறோம். 
• முதற்கட்டமாக சில மாநகராட்சி, நகராட்சிகளிலும், தொலைதூரக் கிராமங்களிலும் இத்திட்டம் தொடங்கப்படவுள்ளது. 
• ஒன்றாம் வகுப்பு முதல் ஐந்தாம் வகுப்பு வரை பயிலக்கூடிய தொடக்கப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு அனைத்துப் பள்ளி நாட்களிலும் காலை வேளையில் சத்தான சிற்றுண்டி வழங்கப்படும். 
• இதனை உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்புகள் மூலமாக வழங்குவோம். படிப்படியாக அனைத்துப் பகுதிகளுக்கும் இந்தத் திட்டம் விரிவுபடுத்தப்படும்.

ENGLISH

• Breakfast will be served to government school students. Children who can go to school in urban and rural areas leave early in the morning.
• Thus the government has received information that most children do not eat breakfast.
• Not only are the schools very far away, but the family environment of some is also a factor. With this in mind, we are planning this project.
• In the first phase, the project will be launched in some corporations, municipalities and remote villages.
• Primary school students from class one to class five will be provided with nutritious snacks in the morning on all school days.
• We will provide this through local bodies. The scheme will be gradually extended to all areas.
