- மின்சார வாகன இணையதளத்தில் உள்ள தகவல் படி, தற்போது இந்திய சாலைகளில் 8.77 லட்சம் மின்சார வாகனங்கள் பயன்பாட்டில் உள்ளன.
- இரண்டாம் கட்ட பேம் இந்தியா திட்டத்தின் கீழ் மின்சார வாகனங்கள் வாங்குவோருக்கு ஊக்கத் தொகை அளிக்கப்படுகிறது. மேலும் மின்சார வாகனங்களின் உற்பத்தியை ஊக்குவிக்க, உற்பத்தியுடன் தொடர்புடைய, இரண்டு ஊக்குவிப்பு திட்டங்களையும், கனரக தொழில்துறை அமைச்சகம் அமல்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
- அதிக மக்கள் தொகை கொண்ட மாநிலமான உத்தரபிரதேசம், இந்தியாவில் பதிவுசெய்யப்பட்ட மின் வாகனங்களில் பெருமளவு இயக்கப்படுகிறது. அதைத் தொடர்ந்து டெல்லி மற்றும் கர்நாடகா மூன்றாவது இடத்தில் உள்ளன.
- பிஹார் மற்றும் மகாராஷ்டிராவில் 50,000 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட மின் வாகனங்கள் உள்ளன. உத்தரபிரதேசம் மற்றும் டெல்லி ஆகிய இரண்டு மாநிலங்களிலும் மின்சார மூன்று சக்கர வாகனங்களை அதிக அளவில் இயக்கப்படுகின்றன. இந்த பட்டியலில் தமிழகம் 7-வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. இங்கு 45,368 வாகனங்கள் பயன்பாட்டில் உள்ளன.
- ஐந்தாண்டுகளுக்கு ரூ.18,100 கோடி செலவில் மேம்பட்ட வேதியியல் செல் உற்பத்திக்கான உற்பத்தி-இணைக்கப்பட்ட ஊக்கத் திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.
- கடந்த ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளில் ரூ.25,938 கோடி செலவில் ஆட்டோமொபைல் மற்றும் ஆட்டோ உதிரிபாகங்களுக்கான பிஎல்ஐ திட்டம் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- இந்த திட்டத்தின் கீழ் மின்சார வாகனங்கள் அடங்கும். மின்சார வாகனங்கள் மீதான சரக்கு மற்றும் சேவை வரி 12%லிருந்து 5% ஆக குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது;
- மின்சார வாகனங்களுக்கான சார்ஜர்கள்/சார்ஜிங் நிலையங்கள் மீதான ஜிஎஸ்டி வரி 18 சதவீதத்தில் இருந்து 5 சதவீதமாக குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- பேட்டரியில் இயங்கும் வாகனங்களுக்கு பச்சை நிற லைசென்ஸ் பிளேட் வழங்கப்படும் என்றும், பெர்மிட் பெறுவதில் இருந்து விலக்கு அளிக்கப்படும் என்றும் சாலை போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் நெடுஞ்சாலை அமைச்சகம் அறிவித்துள்ளது.
- மின் வாகனங்கள் மீதான சாலை வரியை தள்ளுபடி செய்யுமாறு மாநிலங்களுக்கு அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது அவர்களின் ஆரம்ப செலவைக் குறைக்க உதவும்.
- According to the Electric Vehicle website, there are currently 8.77 lakh electric vehicles in use on Indian roads. Incentives are being provided to buyers of electric vehicles under the Phase II Pham India scheme.
- The Ministry of Heavy Industries has also implemented two production-related promotion schemes to promote the production of electric vehicles. Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state, operates the largest number of registered electric vehicles in India. It is followed by Delhi and Karnataka in third place.
- There are more than 50,000 registered electric vehicles in Bihar and Maharashtra. Both Uttar Pradesh and Delhi have the highest number of electric three-wheelers. Tamil Nadu ranks 7th in this list. There are 45,368 vehicles in use here.
- The Production-Linked Incentive Scheme for Advanced Chemical Cell Production is being implemented for five years at a cost of Rs. 18,100 crore. The PLI scheme for automobiles and auto parts has been implemented over the last five years at a cost of Rs 25,938 crore.
- This scheme includes electric vehicles. The goods and services tax on electric vehicles has been reduced from 12% to 5%; GST on chargers / charging stations for electric vehicles has been reduced from 18 per cent to 5 per cent.
- The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced that battery-powered vehicles will be issued a green license plate and exempted from obtaining a permit. States have been advised to waive the road tax on electric vehicles. This will help reduce their initial cost.
