- தேசிய குடும்ப நல ஆய்வு 2019-2021ம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கான புள்ளிவிவரங்களை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. இதில் இந்த தகவல்கள் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளன.
- கடந்த 2015-16ம் ஆண்டு 1,000 ஆண்களுக்கு 991 என இருந்த பெண்களின் எண்ணிக்கையானது 2019-2021ம் ஆண்டில் 1,020 ஆக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. ஆண்களின் எண்ணிக்கையை விட பெண்களின் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்துள்ளது இதுவே முதல்முறையாகும்.
- 1,000 ஆண்களுக்கு கிராமப்புறங்களில் 1,037 பெண்களும், நகர்ப்புறங்களில் 985 பெண்களும் உள்ளனர் என ஆய்வு முடிவு தெரிவித்துள்ளது. ஆனால், மறுபுறம் கடந்த 5 ஆண்டுகளில் 1,000 ஆண் குழந்தைகளுக்கு 929 பெண் குழந்தைகள் மட்டுமே பிறந்துள்ளன.
- 1,000 ஆண் குழந்தைகள் பிறந்த நகரங்களில் 924 பெண் குழந்தைகளும், கிராமங்களில் 931 பெண் குழந்தைகளும் பிறந்துள்ளன. இது கடந்த 2015-2016 புள்ளிவிவரங்களைவிட அதிகமாகும். ஆனாலும், இது சமூகத்தில் ஓரளவு தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும் என்று ஆய்வாளர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.
- தமிழ்நாட்டை பொறுத்த அளவில், 1,000 ஆண்களுக்கு நகர்ப்புறங்களில் 1,062 பெண்களும், கிராமப்புறங்களுக்கு 1,113 பெண்கள் என மொத்தமாக சராசரியாக 1,000 ஆண்களுக்கு 1,088 பெண்கள் உள்ளனர்.
- கடந்த 5 ஆண்டுகளில் பிறந்த பெண்குழந்தைகள் எண்ணிக்கை கணிசமாக குறைந்துள்ளது. 2015-16 ஆண்டுகளில் 1,000 ஆண்களுக்கு 954 என இருந்த பெண் குழந்தைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 2020-21ம் ஆண்டுகளில் 878 என குறைந்துள்ளது.
- தமிழ்நாடு மட்டுமல்லாது கேரளாவிலும் இந்த பெண் குழந்தைகள் விகிதாச்சாரம் வெகுவாக குறைந்துள்ளது. ஆனால் ஆந்திரப் பிரதேசத்தில் இந்த எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்துள்ளது.
- 2015-16ல் 1,000 ஆண் குழந்தைகளுக்கு 914 என இருந்த பெண் குழந்தைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 2019-20ம் ஆண்டுகளில் 934 என அதிகரித்துள்ளது.
- ஹரியானாவில் அதிகப்பட்சமாக இதுவரை இல்லாத அளவில் வளர்ந்த பெண்கள் எண்ணிக்கை மற்றும், கடந்த 5 ஆண்டுகளில் பிறந்த பெண் குழந்தைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை என இரண்டும் கணிசமாக அதிகரித்துள்ளன.
- 2015-16ல் 1,000 ஆண் குழந்தைகளுக்கு 836 என இருந்த பெண் குழந்தைகளின் எண்ணிக்கையானது 2020-2021ல் 893 ஆக அதிகரித்துள்ளன.
