Chaudhry is the next Commander of the Indian Air Force

• Air Marshal VR Chaudhary has been appointed as the next Commander of the Indian Air Force. Indian Air Force Commander R.K.S. Pathauria is retiring this month.
• Following this, the Central Government has decided to appoint Air Marshal VR Chaudhry as the next Commander of the Air Force. Chaudhry, who is currently the Deputy Commander, joined the Air Force in December 1982.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's party wins in Canada

• Justin Trudeau, who last formed and ruled a minority government, had hoped that his party would get more seats in this constituency for better handling of the Corona crisis.
• However, the Liberal Party won only 157 seats, as in the previous round, which ended on Monday. The opposition Conservative Party won 119 seats, 2 seats less than last time.

• The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has unveiled a new logo for vegetarian products. FSSAI today unveiled a logo with 4 green leaves in the English letter V format as a vegetarian dish.
• One of the food items sold in the pocket had a green dot on it to indicate that it was vegetarian.
• As an alternative, FSSAI has now released a logo with 4 green leaves in the English letter V format as a vegetarian food.
