- நீட் தேர்வு பாதிப்புகள் குறித்து ஆய்வு செய்ய தமிழக அரசு ஓய்வு பெற்ற உயர்நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதி ஏ.கே.ராஜன் தலைமையில் குழு ஒன்றை அமைத்தது. பல்வேறு கட்ட ஆய்வுகளுக்கு பிறகு ஏ.கே.ராஜன் குழு பல்வேறு பரிந்துரைகள் அடங்கிய அறிக்கையை தமிழக அரசிடம் சமர்ப்பித்தது.
- இதனிடையே கடந்த மாதம் 19ஆம் தேதி, நீட் நுழைவுத்தேர்வை ரத்து செய்தும் பள்ளி இறுதித் தேர்வில் பெறும் மதிப்பெண்களின் அடிப்படையில் மருத்துவ படிப்பில் சேர்க்கை நடத்தப்படும் என அறிவித்தும் தமிழ்நாடு அரசு சட்டப்பேரவையில் நிறைவேற்றியது.
- முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலினின் இந்த அறிவிப்புக்கு பல்வேறு கட்சிகள் மற்றும் மாணவர் அமைப்பினர் வரவேற்பு அளித்தனர். சட்டப்பேரவையில் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்ட மசோதாவை தமிழக அரசுஆளுநரிடம் சர்பித்தது. மேலும் குடியரசுத் தலைவருக்கும் அனுப்பி வைக்க தமிழ்நாடு அரசு நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளது.
- இந்நிலையில் ஏ.கே.ராஜன் குழு வழங்கிய 165 பக்கங்கள் கொண்ட ஆய்வு அறிக்கையை தமிழ்நாடு அரசு தற்போது வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
- தமிழகத்தில் நீட் தேர்வல் தொடர்ந்து நடந்தால், சுகாதார கட்டமைப்பு, கல்வி பாதிக்கப்படும், ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையங்களில் போதுமான மருத்துவர்கள் இல்லாத நிலை உருவாகும், அதேபோல், அரசு மருத்துவமனைகளில் போதுமான மருத்துவர்கள் இருக்கமாட்டார்கள் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- நீட் தேர்வுக்கு பின் மருத்துவப் படிப்பில் சேர்ந்த ஆங்கில வழி மாணவர்களின் சதவீதம் 56.02% முதல் 69.53% ஆக உயர்ந்தது. ஆனால் தமிழ் வழியில் பயின்ற மாணவர்களின் சதவீதம் 14.44% முதல் 1.7% ஆக குறைந்தது.
- மேலும் நீட் தேர்வு கோச்சிங் சென்டர்களை பிரபலப்படுத்துகிறதே தவிர கற்றலை அல்ல. குறிப்பாக முதல் முறை நீர் தேர்வு எழுதுபவர்களை விட, ஒன்றுக்கு மேற்பட்ட முறையில் தேர்வு எழுதுபவர்களுக்கு தான் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரியில் இடம் கிடைக்கிறது.
- இதற்கு சுமார் 1 லட்சம் முதல் 4.5 லட்சம் வரை கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கப்பட்டுகிறது. மருத்துவ மாணவர் சேர்க்கையில் நீட் தேர்வை ரத்து செய்வதற்கான சட்ட நடவடிக்கைகளை உடனடியாக தமிழ்நாடு அரசு தொடங்கலாம்.
- நீட் தேர்வை ரத்து செய்வதற்கான தனி சட்டம் இயற்றி குடியரசு தலைவரின் அனுமதியை பெறலாம். நீட் தேர்வை ரத்து செய்து சட்டம் இயற்றுவது, மருத்துவ மாணவர் சேர்க்கையில் மாணவ சமுதாயத்திற்கான சமூக நீதியை உறுதி செய்யும் என ஏ.கே.ராஜன் குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- The Government of Tamil Nadu has constituted a panel headed by retired High Court Judge AK Rajan to study the implications of NEET examination. After various stages of study, the AK Rajan Committee submitted a report to the Government of Tamil Nadu containing various recommendations.
- Meanwhile, on the 19th of last month, the Tamil Nadu state assembly passed a resolution announcing that the NEED entrance test would be conducted on the basis of the marks obtained in the school final examination.
- The announcement by Chief Minister MK Stalin was welcomed by various parties and student organizations. The bill passed in the Assembly was submitted to the Governor of Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu government has taken steps to send it to the President.
- In this context, the Government of Tamil Nadu has now released a 165 page study report issued by the AK Rajan Committee.
- It has been reported that if NEET selection continues in Tamil Nadu, the health structure, education will be affected, there will be a shortage of doctors in primary health centers, as well as there will not be enough doctors in government hospitals.
- The percentage of English medium students enrolling in medical school after NEET examination increased from 56.02% to 69.53%. But the percentage of students studying in the Tamil way dropped from 14.44% to 1.7%.
- And the NEET exam is not about learning but about popularizing coaching centers. Especially those who are writing the exam more than once are getting a place in the medical college than those who are writing the water exam for the first time.
- It costs around Rs 1 lakh to Rs 4.5 lakh. The Government of Tamil Nadu may immediately initiate legal action to cancel the NEET examination for admission of medical students.
- NEET can get the approval of the President by enacting a separate law to cancel the election. The AK Rajan Committee has said that the repeal of the NEET exam and the enactment of the law will ensure social justice for the student community in medical student admissions.
