Passage of a bill empowering state governments to re-identify OBC factions
- The 127th Amendment to the Constitution, which gives state governments the power to identify and list OBCs, has been tabled in the Lok Sabha. Then, The bill was passed with the support of the opposition. The bill also seeks to allow Parliament to modify the list of tribes.
Central University of Ladakh - Passage of the bill in Parliament to set up
- The Central Universities Amendment Bill 2021 was passed last week in the Lok Sabha to set up a Central University in the Union Territory of Ladakh. The bill was tabled at the state level.

- Prime Minister Modi, who participated in the ninth installment of Rs. 19000 crores

- Each of the member states of the Council will chair the Security Council each month in rotation, in alphabetical order. Accordingly, the Indian leadership has taken charge this month.
- Prime Minister Modi chaired the UN Security Council meeting. Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to chair a UN Security Council meeting.
- During the discussion on 'International Cooperation in Improving Maritime Security', Prime Minister Modi spoke via video: Maritime regions continue to face various challenges.
