- தெலங்கானா மாநிலம், வரங்கல்லில் உள்ள ராமப்பா கோயிலை உலக பாரம்பரிய சின்னமாக யுனெஸ்கோ அறிவித்துள்ளதாக மத்திய கலாசார துறை அமைச்சகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- கணபதி தேவா என்ற காகதிய வம்ச மன்னரின் ஆட்சிக் காலத்தில் 13-ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் எழுப்பப்பட்ட பிரசித்தி பெற்ற இக்கோயிலின் மூலவா் ராமலிங்கேசுவரா்.
- எனினும், இந்த அற்புதமான கோயிலை வடிவமைத்த கட்டடக் கலைஞரான ராமப்பாவின் பெயரால் அறியப்படுவது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
- 2019-ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான யுனெஸ்கோவின் உலக பாரம்பரிய சின்னம் பட்டியலில் இடம்பெறுவதற்காக மத்திய அரசால் இக்கோயில் பரிந்துரை செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது.
- காகதிய வம்சத்தைச் சோந்த மன்னா்கள் இப்போதைய தெலங்கானா, ஆந்திரத்தை உள்ளடக்கிய பெரும்பாலான பகுதிகளையும், கிழக்கு கா்நாடகம், தெற்கு ஒடிஸாவின் சில பகுதிகளையும் 12 முதல் 14-ஆம் நூற்றாண்டுக்கு இடைப்பட்ட காலத்தில் ஆட்சி செய்து வந்தனா்.

- The Rampa Temple in Warangal, Telangana, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, according to the Union Ministry of Culture. Ramalingeswara is the originator of this famous temple which was built in the 13th century during the reign of Ganapati Deva, a paper king.
- However, it is noteworthy that this magnificent temple is named after the architect who designed it, Ramappa. The temple was recommended by the Central Government to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List for 2019.
- The Kagati dynasty ruled most of present-day Telangana, including Andhra Pradesh, and parts of eastern Karnataka and southern Odisha between the 12th and 14th centuries.
