- மத்திய கல்வித் துறை அமைச்சர் ரமேஷ் போக்ரியால் நிஷாங்க் 2019-2020 கல்வியாண்டின், கல்விக்கான ஒருங்கிணைந்த மாவட்ட தகவல் அமைப்பு அறிக்கையை (யுடிஎஸ்இ +) சமீபத்தில் வெளியிட்டுள்ளார்.
- இதில் இந்தியாவின் அனைத்து மாநிலங்களிலும் உள்ள பள்ளிகளின் நிலை என்ன என்பதனை பற்றிய விரிவான தகவல்கள், புள்ளி விவரங்களுடன் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- 2019-20 கல்வியாண்டை பொறுத்தவரையில், தமிழ்நாட்டில் மொத்தம் 58,897 பள்ளிகள் உள்ளன. இதில் 37,579 அரசு பள்ளிகள், 8,328 அரசு உதவி பெறும் பள்ளிகள், 12,382 தனியார் பள்ளிகள் மற்றும் 608 இதர பள்ளிகள். இந்த மொத்த பள்ளிகளிலும் கிட்டத்தட்ட 5,62,762 ஆசிரியர்கள் பணிபுரிகின்றனர்.
- தமிழ்நாட்டில், நூற்றுக்கு நூறு சதவீதம் அனைத்துப் பள்ளிகளிலும் மின் இணைப்பு வசதி ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டு செயல்பாட்டில் உள்ளது என இந்த அறிக்கை கூறுகிறது.
- மேலும் குடிநீர் வசதி, கைகழுவும் வசதி, கழிப்பிட வசதி போன்ற அடிப்படை வசதிகளில் 100 சதவீதம் தமிழ்நாட்டின் அனைத்து அரசு மற்றும் தனியார் பள்ளிகளிலும் உள்ளன என இந்த அறிக்கை குறிப்பிடுகிறது.
- இந்தியாவில் இதுபோன்று, நூற்றுக்கு நூறு சதவீதம் அனைத்து அடிப்படை வசதிகளும் கொண்ட பள்ளிகள் பெற்ற சில மாநிலங்களில், தமிழ்நாடும் ஒன்று என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
- எனினும், சிலவற்றில் தமிழ்நாடு பள்ளிகள் 100 சதவீதத்தை எட்டாத நிலையே உள்ளது. மருத்துவ பரிசோதனையில் நூற்றுக்கு 95.3 சதவீதம் மட்டுமே எட்டியுள்ளது. அதிலும், அரசு பள்ளிகளில் 97.34 சதவீதம் மற்றும் தனியார் பள்ளிகளில் 89.04 சதவீத பள்ளிகளில் மட்டுமே மாணவர்களுக்கு மருத்துவ பரிசோதனைகள் நடைபெற்றுள்ளன.
- மேலும், தமிழ்நாட்டில் 78.06 சதவீத பள்ளிகளில் மட்டுமே கணினி வசதி ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளதாக இந்த அறிக்கை கூறுகிறது. அதிலும் அரசு பள்ளிகளில் 80.82 சதவீத பள்ளிகளிலும், அதனைக் காட்டிலும் அதிகமாக தனியார் பள்ளிகளில் 90.47 சதவீத பள்ளிகளிலும் கணினி வசதி உள்ளது.
- இணைய வசதியை பொறுத்தவரையில், 2019-20 கல்வியாண்டில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள பள்ளிகளில் 31.95 சதவீத பள்ளிகளில் மட்டுமே இணைய வசதி உள்ளது என இந்த அறிக்கை கூறுகிறது. அதிலும் அதிர்ச்சி அளிக்கும் விஷயமாக, 17.95 சதவீத அரசுப் பள்ளிகளில் மட்டுமே இணைய வசதி உள்ளது எனவும், தனியார் பள்ளிகளில் 75.44 சதவீத பள்ளிகள் இணைய வசதியை கொண்டுள்ளன எனவும் இந்த அறிக்கை குறிப்பிடுகிறது.
- ஆக எஞ்சியிருக்கும் 70% தமிழ்நாடு பள்ளிகளில் 2020 வரை இணைய வசதி இல்லை என குறிப்பிட்டாலும், 2020ல் அதிகரித்த கொரோனாவின் தாக்கத்தினால், ஊரடங்கில் பள்ளிகள் மூடப்பட்டு இணைய வழி கல்வியே இன்று வரையிலும் பின்பற்றப்பட்டு வருகிறது. எனவே, இன்று இணைய வசதி என்பது 100 சதவீதம் அனைத்து மாணவருக்கும் அடிப்படை தேவையாக இருக்கிறது.

- Nishank has recently released the Integrated District Information System Report (UDSE +) for the 2019-2020 academic year by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokri.
- It contains detailed information and statistics on the status of schools in all states of India.
- For the 2019-20 academic year, there are a total of 58,897 schools in Tamil Nadu. Of these, 37,579 were government schools, 8,328 were government-aided schools, 12,382 were private schools and 608 were other schools. These total schools employ approximately 5,62,762 teachers.
- In Tamil Nadu, 100 per cent of all schools are electrified, the report said.
- The report also states that 100 per cent of the basic facilities such as drinking water, hand washing and toilet facilities are available in all government and private schools in Tamil Nadu.
- It is noteworthy that Tamil Nadu is one of the few states in India to have one hundred percent schools with all the basic facilities like this.
- However, in some cases, Tamil Nadu schools have not reached 100 per cent. It has reached only 95.3 per cent in clinical trials. Of these, only 97.34 per cent in government schools and 89.04 per cent in private schools conducted medical examinations for students.
- In addition, only 78.06 per cent of schools in Tamil Nadu have computer facilities, the report said. Of these, 80.82 per cent of government schools and 90.47 per cent of private schools have computer facilities.
- In terms of internet access, the report says that in the 2019-20 academic year, only 31.95 per cent of schools in Tamil Nadu will have internet access. Even more shocking is the fact that only 17.95 per cent of government schools have internet access and 75.44 per cent of private schools have internet access.
- Although the remaining 70% of Tamil Nadu schools do not have internet access by 2020, due to the impact of the increased corona in 2020, schools in the curfew have been closed and online education is still being followed. So, today internet facility is a basic requirement for 100 percent all students.
