MoU Signed Between CSIR and Nalanda University
- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and Nalanda University, aiming to integrate science, sustainable development, and social advancement with international higher education.
- The agreement was exchanged in the presence of Dr. N. Kalaiselvi, Director General of CSIR; Professor Sachin Chaturvedi, Vice-Chancellor of Nalanda University; and Mr. Rudrendra Tandon, Secretary (East) of the Ministry of External Affairs.
- Through this partnership, socially oriented projects such as model village development, waste management, and water quality improvement will be implemented by leveraging CSIR’s indigenous technologies and Nalanda University’s international academic ecosystem.
- As an initial step, Dr. N. Kalaiselvi proposed the implementation of three key social projects in the Nalanda region. Furthermore, a CSIR technology exhibition gallery is set to be established at the Nalanda University campus to showcase CSIR’s innovations to students and international visitors.
