ICC Player of the Month Award for March 2026
- The International Cricket Council (ICC) honors players who deliver outstanding performances in international cricket matches by presenting them with a monthly award.
- Accordingly, Sanju Samson the star batsman and wicketkeeper of the Indian team has been named the ICC Player of the Month for March.
- During the T20 World Cup series, he scored an unbeaten 97 runs against the West Indies, guiding his team into the semi-finals. Subsequently, in the semi-final match held at the Wankhede Stadium, he delivered another stellar performance by amassing 89 runs against England.
- Furthermore, in the final match against New Zealand, Sanju Samson scored 89 runs, playing a pivotal role in securing a magnificent victory for India. With a total of 275 runs across these three crucial matches in which he played with aggressive flair he also earned the title of "Player of the Series."
