India-Israel Sign 17 Important Agreements
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a two-day official visit to Israel. This was the second time in 9 years that Prime Minister Modi was visiting Israel, and he was given a rousing welcome there.
- On the first day of this important visit, the day before yesterday, he participated in various events and was hosted by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for dinner.
- In this context, on the second day, yesterday, he visited the Yad Vashem memorial in Jerusalem. Prime Minister Modi laid a wreath and paid tribute to the approximately 6 million Jews who were killed by Hitler's Nazi forces that ruled Germany during World War II.
- Prime Minister Modi also met with the country's President Isaac Horszow and discussed bilateral relations. Subsequently, 17 agreements were signed in various sectors including artificial intelligence, economy, space, defense, agriculture, education, maritime heritage, and trade in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
