Bihar Assembly Election Results 2025
- There are a total of 243 assembly constituencies in Bihar. To come to power here, a party needs to win 123 seats. The assembly elections were held in two phases on the 6th and 11th. The votes cast in these were counted and the results were announced today.
- From the very beginning, the BJP alliance started taking the lead in the constituencies. In this situation, the election results were completely announced at 11 pm today. The BJP alliance won 202 seats, while it needed 122 seats to come to power. With this, the BJP alliance has been confirmed again in Bihar.
- Party-wise, the BJP has won 89 seats. Similarly, the JDU, aka the Janata Dal United, in the alliance, has won 85 seats. Similarly, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) of Union Minister Chirag Paswan, aka the LJPRV party, in the alliance with the BJP, has won 19 seats.
- Similarly, another Union Minister Jitanram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) party HAMS has won 5 seats. Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RSHTLM) party has won 4 seats. Thus, the BJP alliance has won a total of 202 seats.
- On the other hand, the opposition 'Mahagatbandhan' alliance has suffered a major defeat. This alliance has won a total of 35 seats. Tejashwi Yadav's RJD has won 25 seats and the Congress party has won 6 seats.
- The CPI(ML) (L) party in this alliance has won 2 seats and the Marxist Communist and the Indian Inclusive Party (IIP) have won one seat each. Apart from this, Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM party won 5 seats and Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party won one seat.
- The Indian Air Force is participating in the 8th edition of bilateral air exercise 'Garuda 25' with the French Air and Space Force from November 16 to 27 at Mont-de-Marsan, France. The Indian Air Force arrived in France on November 10 with SU-30MKI fighter jets.
- During the exercise, the Indian Air Force's SU-30MKI aircraft will operate alongside French multi-role fighter jets in complex simulated air combat situations.
- The Garuda 25 exercise also provides an opportunity for professional interaction, exchange of operational knowledge and sharing of best practices between the two air forces. Participation in this exercise reflects the Indian Air Force's commitment to constructively engage with friendly foreign air forces through multilateral exercises and to promote mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of air operations.
- The Asian Archery Championships are underway in Dhaka. In the women's recurve final, India's Ankita Bhagat defeated Paris Olympics silver medallist Suhyeon of South Korea 7-3 to win the gold medal.
- In the men's recurve final, India's Dheeraj Bommadevara won the gold medal by defeating compatriot Rahul 6-2. Rahul, who finished second, won the silver medal. India finished the tournament with a total of 10 medals, including 6 gold, 3 silver and one bronze.
