Tri-Service Exercise Trishul 2025
  • Tri-Service Exercise Trishul was jointly conducted by the Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air Force. The Western Naval Command of the Indian Navy, the Southern Command of the Indian Army and the Southwestern Air Command of the Indian Air Force participated in it.
  • The exercise involved large-scale operations in the desert areas of Rajasthan, Gujarat and the North Arabian Sea. The Indian Coast Guard, the Border Security Force and other central agencies also participated in the exercise, strengthening inter-agency coordination and joint operations.
  • The objective was to enhance inter-service coordination and to test and harmonize multi-domain integrated operational procedures across the three services.
  •  The exercise also tested joint intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance procedures, electronic warfare and cyber warfare plans. Facilities were provided for sharing best practices and testing joint methods of air operations.
Indian Army signs Rs 2,095 crore anti-tank missile deal
  • Indian Army has signed a Rs 2,095 crore anti-tank missile deal. A deal has been signed with Bharat Dynamics to buy INVAR anti-tank missiles. The missile system enhances the firepower and damage of the T-90 artillery, a key component of the Indian Army's armoured divisions. 
  • The weapon system is a state-of-the-art laser-guided anti-tank missile with a very high probability of hitting.
Asian Archery Championship 2025
  • The Asian Archery Championship is being held in Dhaka. In the women's compound team event, the Indian team comprising Jyoti Surekha, Deepshika and Prithika Pradeep defeated Korea 236-234 in the final to win the gold medal.
  • In the compound mixed team event, the Indian team comprising Abhishek Verma and Deepshika defeated Bangladesh 153-151 in the final to win the gold medal.
  • In the men's compound team event, the Indian team comprising Abhishek Verma, Sahil Rajesh Jadhav and Pratamesh Balchandra lost to Kazakhstan 229-230 to win the silver medal.
