• 2024ஆம் ஆண்டில் காற்றில் கரியமில வாயு அளவு குறித்து டபிள்யுஎம்ஓ அறிக்கை / WMO REPORT ON CARBON DIOXIDE LEVELS IN AIR 2024: வளிமண்டலத்தில் உள்ள கரியமில வாயுவின் அளவு கடந்த 2024-ஆம் ஆண்டில் புதிய உச்சத்தை எட்டியதாக ஐ.நா. வானிலை அமைப்பான உலக வானிலை அமைப்பு (டபிள்யுஎம்ஓ) தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
• இது குறித்து அந்த அமைப்பு  வெளியிட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாவது கடந்த 2024-ஆம் ஆண்டில் வளிமண்டலத்தில் காணப்பட்ட கரியமில வாயுவின் அளவு, 1957-இல் அளவீடு தொடங்கியதற்குப் பிந்தைய அதிகபட்சத்தைத் தொட்டது.

• WMO REPORT ON CARBON DIOXIDE LEVELS IN AIR 2024: The amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere reached a new peak in 2024, the UN's meteorological agency, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), said in a statement.
• The organization said that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in 2024 reached its highest level since records began in 1957. The greenhouse gas has further heated the Earth, causing climate change and increasing natural disasters.
• The rate of increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has now tripled compared to the 1960s. Not only human activities, but also wildfires that have spread more than usual in various parts of the world have worsened the situation.
