தமிழ்நாடு பள்ளிகளில் மாணவர் இடைநிற்றல் விகிதம் குறித்த அறிக்கை 2024 - 2025 / REPORT ON STUDENT DROPOUT IN TAMILNADU SCHOOL 2024 - 2025: தமிழ்நாட்டில் 37,626 அரசு பள்ளிகள், 8,254 அரசு உதவி பெறும் பள்ளிகள், 11,890 தனியார் பள்ளிகள், 165 இதர பள்ளிகள் என மொத்தம் 57 ஆயிரத்து 935 பள்ளிகள் செயல்பட்டு வருகின்றன. இந்த பள்ளிகளில் ஒரு கோடியே 25 லட்சத்து 18 ஆயிரத்து 167 மாணவ-மாணவிகள் படித்து வருகிறார்கள்.
ஒட்டுமொத்த இந்தியாவில் உள்ள அனைத்து பள்ளிகளிலும் 100 சதவீதம் மாணவர் சேர்க்கை விகித இலக்கை அடைய மத்திய அரசு பாடுபட்டு வருகிறது.
தமிழ்நாடு அரசின் பள்ளிக்கல்வித் துறையும் அதே முனைப்பை காட்டுகிறது. மத்திய அரசு 2030-ம் ஆண்டுக்குள் இடைநிற்றல் இல்லாமல் 100 சதவீதம் மாணவர் சேர்க்கை என்ற இலக்கை எப்படியாவது எட்டிப்பிடித்து விட வேண்டும் என்ற முயற்சியில் மத்திய அரசு பணியாற்றி வரும் சூழலில், குழந்தைகளின் பள்ளி இடைநிற்றல் தொடர்ந்து ஒரு தடையாகவே இருந்து வருகிறது.
இந்திய அளவில் தொடக்கப்பள்ளிகளில் (1 முதல் 5-ம் வகுப்பு வரை) 0.3 சதவீதமும், நடுநிலைப் பள்ளிகளில் (6 முதல் 8-ம் வகுப்பு வரை) 3.5 சதவீதமும், உயர்நிலைப் பள்ளிகளில் (9, 10-ம் வகுப்புகள்) 11.5 சதவீதமும் இடைநிற்றல் விகிதம் இருந்து வருகிறது.
இது கடந்த 2024-25-ம் ஆண்டுக்கான மத்திய கல்வி அமைச்சகத்தின் கீழ் வரக்கூடிய ஒருங்கிணைந்த மாவட்ட தகவல் அமைப்பு (யு.டி.ஐ.எஸ்.இ.) வெளியிட்ட தகவலில் இடம் பெற்று இருக்கிறது.
அந்த பட்டியலில், தமிழ்நாட்டில் தொடக்கப்பள்ளிகளில் 2.7 சதவீதமாக இருக்கிறது. நடுநிலைப்பள்ளியில் 2.8 சதவீதமாகவும், உயர்நிலைப்பள்ளியில் 8.5 சதவீதமாகவும் உள்ளது.
மற்ற மாநிலங்களை ஒப்பிடும்போது இடைநிற்றல் விகிதத்தில் தமிழ்நாடு ஓரளவுக்கு முன்னேற்றம் என்று பார்த்தாலும், அதற்கு முந்தைய ஆண்டுடன் (2023-24) பார்க்கையில் இடைநிற்றல் விகிதம் அதிகரித்திருப்பதை பார்க்க முடிகிறது.
கடந்த 2023-24-ம் ஆண்டு மத்திய அரசின் புள்ளி விவரங்களில் தமிழ்நாடு தொடக்க மற்றும் நடுநிலைப்பள்ளிகளில் இடைநிற்றல் விகிதம் 'பூஜ்ஜியம்' என்ற நிலையிலும், உயர்நிலைப்பள்ளிகளில் 7.7 சதவீதமாகவும் இருந்தது.
இதனை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டு இடைநிற்றலே இல்லை என பள்ளிக்கல்வித் துறை சொல்லி வந்தது. ஆனால் 2024-25-ம் ஆண்டு புள்ளி விவரத்தில் இடைநிற்றல் விகிதம் அதிகரித்து இருக்கிறது.
இடைநிற்றல் விகிதத்தை பொறுத்தவரையில், ஒரு ஆண்டு குறைவதும், அதற்கு அடுத்த ஆண்டு இடைநிற்றல் விகிதம் அதிகரிப்பதும் தமிழ்நாட்டில் தொடருகிறது. அந்த வரிசையில் 2023-24-ம் ஆண்டு குறைந்து, 2024-25-ம் ஆண்டு அதிகரித்துள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

தமிழ்நாடு பள்ளிகளில் மாணவர் இடைநிற்றல் விகிதம் குறித்த அறிக்கை 2024 - 2025 / REPORT ON STUDENT DROPOUT IN TAMILNADU SCHOOL 2024 - 2025: There are a total of 57,935 schools in Tamil Nadu, including 37,626 government schools, 8,254 government aided schools, 11,890 private schools and 165 other schools.
One crore 25 lakh 18 thousand 167 students are studying in these schools. The Central Government is striving to achieve the target of 100 percent student enrollment in all schools across India.
The School Education Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu is also showing the same drive. In an environment where the Central Government is working to somehow achieve the target of 100 percent student enrollment without dropouts by 2030, school dropout of children continues to be an obstacle.
The dropout rate in India is 0.3 percent in primary schools (1st to 5th grade), 3.5 percent in middle schools (6th to 8th grade), and 11.5 percent in high schools (9th and 10th grade).
This is according to the data released by the Unified District Information System (UDISE) under the Union Ministry of Education for the year 2024-25. In that list, Tamil Nadu has 2.7 percent in primary schools. It is 2.8 percent in middle schools and 8.5 percent in high schools.
Although Tamil Nadu has seen some improvement in the dropout rate compared to other states, it can be seen that the dropout rate has increased when compared to the previous year (2023-24).
According to the Central Government statistics for the year 2023-24, the dropout rate in Tamil Nadu primary and middle schools was 'zero' and 7.7 percent in high schools. Based on this, the School Education Department used to say that there was no dropout.
But in the statistics for the year 2024-25, the dropout rate has increased. As far as the dropout rate is concerned, the dropout rate continues to decrease one year and increase the next year in Tamil Nadu. It is noteworthy that in that order, it decreased in the year 2023-24 and increased in the year 2024-25.
