• இந்தப் பட்டியலை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு மாணவர்கள், பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள், கல்லூரிகளில் சேர மிகவும் உதவியாக உள்ளது. அதன் அடிப்படையில் கல்வி அமைச்சகம் 10வது தரவரிசைப் பதிப்பை இன்று அறிவித்தது. 
• இந்தப் பட்டியல் பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள், பொறியியல், மருத்துவம், மேலாண்மை, மருந்தியல், சட்டம், கட்டிடக்கலை உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு துறைகளில் உயர்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களை மதிப்பீடு செய்கிறது.

• BEST HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION IN INDIA 2025: The National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 is an annual ranking list of top educational institutions, universities and colleges published by the Ministry of Education. Based on this list, it is very helpful for students to get admission in universities and colleges. 
• Based on this, the Ministry of Education announced the 10th edition of the rankings today. This list evaluates higher education institutions in various fields including universities, engineering, medicine, management, pharmacy, law, architecture.
• Accordingly, IIT Madras has topped the list of the best higher education institutions in the country. In fact, IIT Madras has topped the list for the 7th consecutive year. 
• The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has ranked 2nd in the ranking, IIT Mumbai has ranked 3rd, and IIT Delhi has ranked 4th. IIT Madras has topped the overall category for the seventh consecutive year. 
• IISc Bangalore has been ranked as the best university. It was followed by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) New Delhi and Manipal Academy of Higher Education at the second and third positions respectively.
• In the colleges category, Hindu College, Delhi retained the top spot. Miranda House and Hansraj College took the second and third positions respectively. IIT Madras also topped the engineering category. It was followed by IIT Delhi and IIT Mumbai.
• IIM Ahmedabad emerged as the country's top management institute.  Meanwhile, Jamia Hamdard New Delhi topped the pharmacy category. In the medical education category, AIIMS New Delhi regained its position as the top medical college in India.
