• தமிழ்நாடு மாநில திருநங்கையா் கொள்கை 2025 / TAMILNADU STATE TRANSGENDER POLICY 2025: சமூகத்தில் நீண்ட காலமாக ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட திருநங்கைகள் சமூகத்துக்கு ஆழமான, கட்டமைக்கப்பட்ட மாற்றங்கள் தேவை என்பதை உணா்ந்து, தமிழ்நாடு மாநில ‘திருநங்கையா் கொள்கை 2025’ உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. 
• திருநங்கையருக்கு தங்களது அடையாளங்கள் மற்றும் உடலமைப்பில் சுய-நிா்ணயத்துடன், பாகுபாடு, வன்முறை இல்லாதவா்களாக வாழவும், பாதுகாப்பை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் ஒரு நியாயமான சமமான, வளமான சமூகத்தை அவா்களுக்காக உருவாக்குவதே கொள்கையின் இலக்காகும்.
• தமிழ்நாட்டில் திருநங்கை, திருநம்பி மற்றும் இடைநிலை பாலினத்தவா்களின் முழுமையான சமூக ஒருங்கிணைப்பு, கண்ணியம் மற்றும் உரிமைகளைப் பாதுகாப்பதை இக்கொள்கை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

• TAMILNADU STATE TRANSGENDER POLICY 2025: Recognizing that the transgender community, which has been marginalized for a long time in society, needs deep, structured changes, the Tamil Nadu State ‘Transgender Policy 2025’ has been formulated.
• The goal of the policy is to create a just, equitable, prosperous society for transgender people that ensures self-determination in their identities and bodies, free from discrimination, violence and ensures safety.
• The policy aims to protect the full social integration, dignity and rights of transgender, intersex and intersex people in Tamil Nadu.

Key features

• TAMILNADU STATE TRANSGENDER POLICY 2025: The policies for transgender people have several key features, including legal recognition and protection. 
• In particular, priority to fundamental rights, legal recognition and protection, need for identity documents, skill development and employment, equitable access to education, health care and safe living, social justice and representation, grievance redressal mechanisms and awareness, action and monitoring framework are the key features of the policy.
• A high-level committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to provide advice on the formulation of schemes and laws for transgender people, monitor the impact of the schemes, and evaluate them. 
• This committee will be formed by including all relevant departments and will meet and discuss once every six months.
• Similarly, the policy for transgender people states that a district-level monitoring committee headed by the District Collector will also monitor the socio-economic and political development schemes for transgender people every three months.
