Bihar Cabinet approves 35% quota for women in government jobs
- With the Bihar assembly elections due later this year, the ruling National Democratic Alliance led by Nitish Kumar has announced several schemes. 43 schemes were approved in the state cabinet meeting held this morning under the chairmanship of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
- The Bihar cabinet has approved 35% quota for women from Bihar in government jobs. This reservation will be applicable to all posts in direct recruitment.
