PM chairs high-level meeting
- A high-level meeting of the committee was held today (10.05.2025) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at his residence, 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi.
- The meeting was attended by Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Shri Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Chiefs of the Armed Forces, senior officers and others.
- After long talks held throughout the night with US mediation, India and Pakistan have agreed to cease hostilities. The ceasefire came into effect from 5 pm. The three armies of both countries have agreed to cease all military action along the border.
