பாரத்ஜென் / BHARATGEN: பாரத்ஜென் என்பது இந்தியாவின் மொழி, கலாச்சார மற்றும் சமூக-பொருளாதார பன்முகத்தன்மைக்கு ஏற்ப மேம்பட்ட செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு (ஏஐ) மாதிரிகளை உருவாக்கும் ஒரு பன்முகப்பட்ட பன்மொழி சார்ந்த பெருமொழி மாதிரி முயற்சியாகும்.
ஜெனரேட்டிவ் ஏஐ மாதிரிகள் இந்தியாவின் மாறுபட்ட மொழிப்பரப்பை போதுமான அளவு பிரதிநிதித்துவம் செய்வதை உறுதி செய்வதற்காக, பாரத்ஜென் முதன்மை தரவு சேகரிப்பில் கவனம் செலுத்தும் "பாரத் டேட்டா சாகர்" என்ற முன்முயற்சியைத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது.
தரவுத் தொகுப்பிலா குறைவாக பிரதிநிதித்துவம் செய்யப்படும் இந்திய மொழிகளுக்கு கூடுதல் பயிற்சி தரவு கிடைக்க வேண்டும் என்ற தேவையை பூர்த்தி செய்ய இந்தத் தரவு சேகரிப்பு முயற்சிக்கிறது.
பாரத்ஜென் நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள ஆராய்ச்சி குழுக்களுடன் கூட்டாண்மைகளை உருவாக்கி வருகிறது, உருவாக்கப்படும் ஜெனரேட்டிவ் ஏஐ மாதிரிகள் கூட்டாளர்களால் நீட்டிக்கப்படுவதையும், வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் பயன்பாட்டிற்காக பெரிய ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் கல்வி சாரா சமூகத்திற்கு கிடைக்கச் செய்வதையும் உறுதி செய்கிறது.

BHARATGEN: BharatGen is a multi-lingual, multi-lingual, multi-lingual modeling initiative that builds advanced artificial intelligence (AI) models that are responsive to India’s linguistic, cultural and socio-economic diversity.
To ensure that generative AI models adequately represent India’s diverse linguistic landscape, BharatGen has launched an initiative called “Bharat Data Sagar” that focuses on primary data collection.
This data collection seeks to address the need for additional training data for Indian languages that are underrepresented in the data set.
BharatGen is forging partnerships with research groups across the country to ensure that the generative AI models developed are extended by partners and made available to the larger research and non-academic community for development and use.
BharatGen is forging partnerships with government, industry and start-ups for effective governance and public-facing applications, including for marginalized and underrepresented communities in the country.
BharatGen provides technologies and tools that support the development of regional content by seamlessly translating it into local languages and dialects, to promote cultural identity and regional development.
BharatGen comprises a consortium of top AI researchers from India’s premier academic institutions including IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Mandi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Hyderabad, IIM Indore, IIT Chennai.
These research teams partner with government, industry and startups to ensure equitable access to technology across the country’s diverse socio-economic groups, keeping in mind India’s linguistic, cultural diversity and citizen engagement.
