Prime Minister Narendra Modi participation in the 21st ASEAN-India Summit held in Laos
- The 21st ASEAN-India Summit was held today in Vientiane, Laos. To mark the decade of India's Eastward Policy, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, along with ASEAN leaders, will review the progress of the ASEAN – India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and chart the future direction of cooperation. This is the 11th time that the Prime Minister is participating in this conference.
- The central government distributes the tax revenue to the state governments. According to this, the central government has released Rs.1.78 lakh crore as fund distribution to all the states. The central government has released an additional installment of Rs.89,086 crore in addition to the amount due in October.
- The details of the state-wise release of funds are as follows: Rs 7,211 crore has been released to Andhra Pradesh, Rs 3,131 crore to Arunachal Pradesh, Rs 5,573 crore to Assam, Rs 17,921 crore to Bihar and Rs 6,070 crore to Chhattisgarh.
- Rs 688 crore has been released to Goa, Rs 6,197 crore to Gujarat, Rs 1,947 crore to Haryana, Rs 1,479 crore to Himachal Pradesh and Rs 5,892 crore to Jharkhand.
- Rs 3,430 crore has been released to Kerala, Rs 6,498 crore to Karnataka, Rs 13,987 crore to Madhya Pradesh, Rs 11,255 crore to Maharashtra and Rs 1,276 crore to Manipur.
- Rs 1,367 crore has been released for Meghalaya, Rs 891 crore for Mizoram, Rs 1,014 crore for Nagaland, Rs 8,068 crore for Odisha, Rs 3,220 crore for Punjab, Rs 10,737 crore for Rajasthan and Rs 691 crore for Sikkim.
- Rs 7,268 crore for Tamil Nadu, Rs 3,745 crore for Telangana, Rs 1,261 crore for Tripura, Rs 31,962 crore for Uttar Pradesh, Rs 1,992 crore for Uttarakhand and Rs 13,404 crore for West Bengal.
