பிரேரணா திட்டம் / PRERANA SCHEME: மத்திய அரசின் கல்வி அமைச்சகத்தின் பள்ளிக் கல்வி, எழுத்தறிவுத் துறை, பங்கேற்பாளர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் அர்த்தமுள்ள, தனித்துவமான, ஊக்கமளிக்கும் அனுபவத்தை வழங்குவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு, பிரேரணா என்ற செயல்முறை கற்றல் திட்டத்தைத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது.
ஒன்பதாம் வகுப்பு முதல் பன்னிரெண்டாம் வகுப்பு வரை தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட மாணவர்களுக்கான ஒரு வார கால உண்டு, உறைவிடக் கல்வித் திட்டமாக பிரேரணா உள்ளது. பாரம்பரியமும் புதுமைகளும் சந்திக்கும் சிறந்த தொழில்நுட்பத்தைக் கொண்ட மாணவர்களுக்கு இது ஓர் அனுபவ மற்றும் ஊக்கமளிக்கும் கற்றல் திட்டமாகும். ஒவ்வொரு வாரமும் நாட்டின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் இருந்து தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட 20 மாணவர்கள் (10 மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் 10 மாணவிகள்) இந்தத் திட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்பார்கள்.
குஜராத்தின் மெஹ்சானா மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள இந்தியாவின் பழமையான நகரங்களில் ஒன்றான வாட்நகரில் 1888-ம் ஆண்டில் நிறுவப்பட்ட ஒரு வட்டார மொழிப் பள்ளியில் இருந்து பிரேரணா திட்டம் இயங்கும். பூகம்பம், இயற்கைப் பேரழிவுகள் போன்ற சவால்களை எதிர்கொண்ட நகரமான வாட்நகரின் அசைக்க முடியாத உத்வேகத்திற்கு மரியாதை செலுத்தும் விதமாக இந்தப் பள்ளி அமைந்துள்ளது.
ஐ.ஐ.டி காந்தி நகர் தயாரித்த பிரேரணா பள்ளியின் பாடத்திட்டத்தில் நாள் வாரியான நிகழ்ச்சி அட்டவணையில் யோகா, நினைவாற்றல், தியான அமர்வுகள் இடம்பெறும். அதைத் தொடர்ந்து அனுபவக் கற்றல், கருப்பொருள் அமர்வுகள், சுவாரஸ்யமான கற்றல் நடவடிக்கைகள் இருக்கும். மாலை நேரங்களில் பண்டைய, பாரம்பரிய தளங்களுக்கு செல்வது, ஊக்கமளிக்கும் திரைப்படத்தைக் காணுதல், இயற்கையுடன் இணைந்த வாழ்க்கை முறை நடவடிக்கைகள், திறமை நிகழ்ச்சிகள் போன்றவை ஒரு முழுமையான கற்றல் அணுகுமுறையை உறுதி செய்யும்.

பிரேரணா திட்டம் / PRERANA SCHEME: The Department of School Education, Literacy, Ministry of Education, Govt., has launched Prerana, a process learning program aimed at providing a meaningful, unique and inspiring experience to all participants.
Prerana is a one-week, residential educational program for selected students from class IX to XII. It is an experiential and inspiring learning program for students with the best technology where tradition and innovation meet. Every week 20 students (10 male and 10 female) selected from different parts of the country will participate in this programme.
The Prerana project runs from a vernacular school established in 1888 in Vadnagar, one of India's oldest towns in Gujarat's Mehsana district. The school is a tribute to the indomitable spirit of Vadnagar, a city that has faced challenges such as earthquakes and natural calamities.
Prerana School's curriculum developed by IIT Gandhi Nagar includes yoga, mindfulness and meditation sessions in a day-wise program schedule. This will be followed by experiential learning, themed sessions and engaging learning activities. Evening visits to ancient, heritage sites, motivational film viewing, lifestyle activities in harmony with nature, talent shows etc. ensure a holistic learning approach.
