Rs 1,500 crore interest-free loan to farmers - Tamil Nadu government announcement
- Farmers rearing goats, cows, chickens, fish, etc. through cooperative societies operating all over Tamil Nadu and agricultural workers engaged in agriculture related activities can get interest free loan provided by the Tamil Nadu government by submitting their documents including Aadhaar.
- He said that this interest-free loan will be provided in the financial year 2023-2024 and 1500 crores will be provided to farmers who have agricultural credit cards. Farmers engaged in animal husbandry, fish farming and allied industries are requested to benefit through cooperative societies and cooperative banks.
Domestic Coal in April - November 2023

Despite increased power demand, coal imports for blending declined by 44.28 per cent to 15.16 per cent from 27.21 MT in the same period last year.
