Consensus on the Ukraine War
G20 SUMMIT 2023: The non-participation of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Putin raised questions over India's diplomatic ability to integrate all G20 members.
However, the conference's joint statement showed 100 percent consensus among G20 member states on the Ukraine-Russia war. India's G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said the consensus was the result of nearly 200 hours of non-stop talks.
The declaration upheld Ukraine's "territorial integrity and sovereignty" and underlined that the use or threat of use of nuclear weapons was "unacceptable", while no strong condemnations were expressed to Russia.
Major Economic Corridors
