'OptRoute' செயலி / OptRoute MOBILE APP: சென்னை ஐ.ஐ.டி.,யின் ஆசிரியர்கள், மாணவர்கள், முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் ஆகியோர் இணைந்து, நாடு முழுதும் பயன்படும் வகையில், சரக்கு போக்குவரத்துக்கு உதவும், மொபைல்போன் செயலியை வடிவமைத்து உள்ளனர்.
இந்த செயலியை பயன்படுத்த, எந்த வித தரகு கட்டணமோ, இதர கட்டணங்களோ கிடையாது. இடைத்தரகர்கள் இல்லாமல், வாகன ஓட்டுனருக்கே நேரடியாக வாடகை கட்டணம் சேரும் வகையில், வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது.
'OptRoute' செயலி, சரக்கு ஏற்றுதல், ஓட்டுனர்கள், வாடிக்கையாளர்கள் இடையே இணைப்பை ஏற்படுத்தும். மேலும், வாகன ஓட்டுனர்களுக்கு சரக்கு இறக்கி விட்டு திரும்பும்போதும், உரிய லோடு கிடைக்க வழி வகை கிடைக்கும்.
டில்லி, சண்டிகர், கோல்கட்டா, சென்னை, கோவை என பல நகரங்களை இணைக்கும் வகையில், 'OptRoute' என்ற செயலி உருவாக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது.

OptRoute MOBILE APP: The teachers, students and alumni of IIT Chennai have designed a mobile phone app that will be used across the country to help in the transportation of goods.
There are no brokerage fees or other charges to use this app. The rental fee is directly paid to the driver without any intermediaries.
The 'OptRoute' app connects freight, drivers and customers. Also, drivers will have a choice of ways to get the right load when they drop off and return.
An app called 'OptRoute' has been developed to connect many cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Chennai, Coimbatore.
