உலக மாணவர் தினம் 2023 / WORLD STUDENTS DAY 2023: இந்தியாவின் முன்னாள் குடியரசுத் தலைவர் ஏ.பி.ஜே அப்துல் கலாமின் பிறந்தநாளான அக்டோபர் 15ஆம் தேதியை ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் உலக மாணவர் தினமாக இந்தியா கொண்டாடுகிறது.
கலாம் டிஆர்டிஓ மற்றும் இஸ்ரோவில் (இந்தியாவின் இரண்டு முதன்மையான அரசு நிறுவனங்கள்) புகழ்பெற்ற விஞ்ஞானியாக இருந்தார், மேலும் 2002 முதல் 2007 வரை அதன் 11வது குடியரசுத் தலைவராகவும் பணியாற்றினார்.
ஜனாதிபதியாகவும், ஒரு நபராகவும், அவர் இந்திய மக்களால் மிகவும் நேசிக்கப்பட்டார் மற்றும் அன்புடன் 'மக்கள் ஜனாதிபதி' அழைக்கப்பட்டார்.

உலக மாணவர் தினம் 2023 / WORLD STUDENTS DAY 2023: ஜனாதிபதி கலாமின் வாழ்க்கை ஒரு போராட்டமாகவும், உத்வேகமாகவும் இருந்தது, மக்கள், குறிப்பாக மாணவர்கள் அதிலிருந்து நிறைய கற்றுக்கொள்ளலாம்.
பள்ளியில் சராசரி குழந்தையாக இருந்தாலும், கலாம் மிகவும் மதிக்கப்படும் விஞ்ஞானியாகவும், பின்னர் இந்தியாவின் ஜனாதிபதியாகவும் மாறினார்.
கனவுகள் மற்றும் கடின உழைப்பின் மூலம் மட்டுமே அவர் தனது வாழ்க்கையில் இவ்வளவு பெரிய பாக்கியத்தை அடைய முடிந்தது.
விஞ்ஞானியாக தனது பணியின் போது, கலாம் செய்த வரலாற்று முன்னேற்றங்கள் காரணமாக இந்தியாவின் ஏவுகணை நாயகன் என்ற பெயரைப் பெற்றார்.
அவர் ஜனாதிபதியானவுடன், மக்களின் இதயங்களைத் தொட்டு, மக்கள் ஜனாதிபதி என்ற புனைப்பெயரைப் பெற்றார். அவர் கனவுகளின் ஆதரவாளராக இருந்தார்.
மேலும் அவர் எப்போதும் கனவு காண மாணவர்களை ஊக்குவித்தார் மற்றும் அவரைப் போலவே கனவுகளை நிஜமாக மாற்ற கடினமாக உழைத்தார்.

உலக மாணவர் தினம் 2023 / WORLD STUDENTS DAY 2023: அப்துல் கலாம் அக்டோபர் 15, 1931 அன்று தமிழ்நாட்டின் ராமேஸ்வரத்தில் படகு உரிமையாளருக்கும் இல்லத்தரசிக்கும் பிறந்தார். வறுமையில் வாடிய குடும்பம், வளர்ந்து வரும் அளவுக்கு வசதிகள் இல்லாமல் இருந்தது.
கலாம் தனது குடும்பத்தில் நான்கு சகோதரர்கள் மற்றும் ஒரு சகோதரியில் இளையவர் மற்றும் ஒரு சராசரி வகுப்பு மாணவர், ஆனால் கடின உழைப்பாளி மற்றும் பிரகாசமான மாணவர்.
செயின்ட் ஜோசப் கல்லூரியில் இயற்பியலில் பட்டப்படிப்பை முடித்த கலாம், மெட்ராஸ் இன்ஸ்டிடியூட் ஆப் டெக்னாலஜியில் விண்வெளி துறையில் பட்டம் பெற்றார்.
கடின உழைப்பின் தொடர்ச்சியாக, அவர் தனது பட்டப்படிப்பை முடித்து, பாதுகாப்பு அமைப்பான பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு அமைப்பில் (DRDO) சேர்ந்தார்.
கலாம் இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தில் (இஸ்ரோ) விஞ்ஞானியாகவும் பணியாற்றினார், அங்கு அவர் இந்தியாவின் சிவில் விண்வெளித் திட்டம் மற்றும் இராணுவ ஏவுகணை மேம்பாட்டு முயற்சிகளில் ஈடுபட்டார்.
2002ல், இந்தியாவின் 11வது ஜனாதிபதியாக கலாம் பதவியேற்றார். கலாம் 27 ஜூலை 2015 அன்று ஷில்லாங்கில் உள்ள ஐஐஎம்-ல் விரிவுரை ஆற்றிக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது மாரடைப்பு காரணமாக இறந்தார்.
கலாமின் நினைவாக, அவரது பிறந்த நாளான அக்டோபர் 15ஆம் தேதி இந்தியாவில் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் உலக மாணவர் தினமாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.

உலக மாணவர் தினம் 2023 / WORLD STUDENTS DAY 2023: 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் உலக மாணவர் தினம் “தோல்வி: கற்றலில் முதல் முயற்சியைக் குறிக்கிறது” என்ற தலைப்பில் கவனம் செலுத்தும்.
2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் உலக மாணவர் தினத்திற்கு இது மிகவும் அசல் மற்றும் பொருத்தமான கருப்பொருளாகும். மாணவர்களை ஊக்குவிக்க கல்வி அமைச்சகம் மற்றும் இந்திய அரசு இந்த தலைப்பை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளன.
உலக மாணவர்களின் நாள் 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில், பல நடவடிக்கைகள், பிரச்சாரங்கள் மற்றும் உரையாடல்கள் பள்ளிகள், அரசு நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் தனியார் அமைப்புகளில் கல்வி குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வையும், நம் வாழ்வில் அதன் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்த ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன.

WORLD STUDENTS DAY 2023: India celebrates World Students Day every year on on October 15 to commemorate the birth anniversary of former President of India A.P.J Abdul Kalam.
Kalam was a renowned scientist with DRDO & ISRO (two premiere government agencies of India) and also served India as its 11th president from 2002 to 2007. As a president and a person, he was deeply loved by the people of India and fondly called the ‘People’s President’.
In his honor and to celebrate his love for science and students, World Students Day 2023 will be observed on Sunday, October 15. It is one of the important days celebrated in October.

World Students Day Significance
WORLD STUDENTS DAY 2023: The life of president Kalam was a struggle and inspiration in itself and people, especially students can learn a lot from it.
Despite being an average kid in school, Kalam went on to become a highly respected scientist and then the president of India. It was only through dreams and hard work that he was able to accomplish such a great privilege in his life.
During his career as a scientist, Kalam earned the name Missile Man of India owing to the historic developments he made. When he became the president, he touched the hearts of the people and earned the nickname People’s President.
He was a supporter of dreams and always encouraged students to dream and work hard to turn the dream to reality just like he did. To celebrate the many achievements of Abdul Kalam and to inspire students to be more like him, India observes World Students Day on his birth anniversary, i.e., October 15.
History of Abdul Kalam and World Students Day
WORLD STUDENTS DAY 2023: Abdul Kalam was born on October 15, 1931 in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu to a boat owner and a housewife. The family was stricken with poverty and did not have much facilities growing up. Kalam was the youngest of four brothers and one sister in his family and an average grader, but hardworking and bright student.
Kalam completed his graduation in Physics from Saint Joseph’s College and took a degree in aerospace from Madras Institute of Technology. In continuation with hard work, he completed his graduation and joined the defense organization Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).
Kalam also worked as a scientist at Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) where he was involved in India’s civilian space programme and military missile development efforts.
In 2002, Kalam became the 11th President of India. Kalam died on 27 July 2015 due to cardiac arrest while delivering a lecture at IIM, Shillong. In Kalam’s honor, his birth anniversary October 15 was adopted to be celebrated as World Students Day every year in India.
World Student’s Day Theme 2023
World Students Day in 2023 will focus on the topic “FAIL: stands for First Attempt in Learning.” It is the most original and appropriate theme for World Students Day in 2023. The Ministry of Education and the Government of India have introduced this topic to motivate pupils.
On the occasion of World Students Day 2023, several activities, campaigns, and conversations are organized in schools, government agencies, and private organizations to raise awareness of education and its significance in our lives.
