Five Species of Rhinos

Indian Rhino – It is one of the smaller species of Rhinos. There are generally found in the wildlife of India and Nepal. They are famous for their single horn. These horns can grow up to 10 inches in length. Indian rhinos are highly endangered due to poaching and habitat loss.
Javan Rhino – There is no doubt that Javan Rhinos are one of the rarest animals on the earth. Only a few dozen of them are now remaining. Native to Indonesia, Javan Rhinos are known for their distinctive skin folds which make them look like they are wearing armor.
Sumatran Rhino – It is the smallest species of Rhinos in the world. They are generally found in Indonesia and Malaysia. Their reddish-brown fur and two horns are their specialties. They use their horns for self-defense. Unfortunately, they are highly endangered due to habitat loss and hunting.
