• வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கம் நாள் 2023 / QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT 2023: இந்தியாவில் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஆகஸ்ட் 8 அன்று வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கம் தினம் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது மற்றும் மகாத்மா காந்தியினால் வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கம் தொடங்கப்பட்ட ஆண்டு நிறைவைக் குறிக்கிறது. 
• இந்த இயக்கம் 1942 இல் தொடங்கப்பட்டது மற்றும் பிரிட்டிஷ் ஆட்சிக்கு எதிரான இந்திய சுதந்திரப் போராட்டத்தில் முக்கிய பங்கு வகித்தது. 
• வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கம் ஆகஸ்ட் இயக்கம் அல்லது ஆகஸ்ட் கிராந்தி அல்லது பாரத் சோடோ அந்தோலன் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில், ஆகஸ்ட் 8 ஆம் தேதி திங்கட்கிழமை வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்க நாள் வரும்.

• வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கம் நாள் 2023 / QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT 2023: அகில இந்திய காங்கிரஸ் கமிட்டியின் பம்பாய் அமர்வில் மகாத்மா காந்தியால் வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கம் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இந்தியாவில் ஆங்கிலேயர் ஆட்சியை முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டுவரக் கோரிய இயக்கம் 1942 ஆகஸ்ட் 8 அன்று தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
• இயக்கத்தின் துவக்கத்தின் போது, காங்கிரஸ் அரசியல்வாதியும் சுதந்திர இயக்க ஆர்வலருமான மகாத்மா காந்தி தனது புகழ்பெற்ற செய் அல்லது மடி (கரோ யா மரோ) உரையை ஆங்கிலேயர்களை உடனடியாக இந்தியாவை விட்டு வெளியேறி அவளுக்கு சுதந்திரம் வழங்க வேண்டும் என்று கோரினார்.

• வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கம் நாள் 2023 / QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT 2023: வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்க தினத்தையொட்டி, நாட்டின் சுதந்திரத்தை அடைவதில் சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரர்களின் போராட்டத்தை குடிமக்களுக்கு நினைவூட்டும் வகையில் இந்தியப் பிரதமர் உத்வேகம் தரும் உரையை ஆற்றுகிறார். 
• சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரர்களின் புகழ்பெற்ற பங்களிப்பை நினைவுகூரும் சபாநாயகரின் உரையைத் தொடர்ந்து, தேசத்துக்காக உயிர் தியாகம் செய்தவர்களுக்கு நாடாளுமன்ற வளாகங்கள் அஞ்சலி செலுத்துகின்றன.

Quit India Movement History

• QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT 2023: The Quit India Movement was launched by Mahatma Gandhi at the Bombay session of the All India Congress Committee. The movement that demanded an end to British rule in India was launched on 8th August 1942.
• During the launch of the movement, Congress politician and freedom movement activist, Mahatma Gandhi delivered his famous Do or Die speech (karo ya maro) demanding the British to leave India at once and grant her freedom.

Significance of Quit India Movement Day

• QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT 2023: The Quit India Movement was a result of failure of Cripps Mission which left British government without any support from India in the World War II. The All India Congress under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi launched a mass protest which demanded British government to leave India with immediate effect.
• The mission was crushed by them saying that immediate freedom to India would not be possible in midst of the war. Although the mission failed, it was able to spark the light and sow the seed of freedom struggle in each and every Indian with the fight for freedom growing more intense in different parts of the country.
• To celebrate the significant role that Quit India Movement played in the fight for India’s freedom, Quit India Movement Day is observed every year on August 8, 1942.

History of Quit India Movement Day Observation

• QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT 2023: To honor the efforts of the Indian freedom fighters to protect India from participating in the World War II, the Quit India Movement Day began to be observed. The day is of national importance and is celebrated in India every year on August 8.
• The year 2023 will mark the 80th anniversary of launching of Quit India Movement.

• QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT 2023: On the occasion of Quit India Movement Day, Prime Minister of India delivers inspirational speech reminding citizens of the struggle of freedom fighters in achieving freedom of the country. 
• The Parliament Houses pay their tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the nation followed by a speech from the House Speaker remembering the glorious contribution of the freedom fighters. Homage is also paid to those who suffered from untold suffering in the fight of India’s independence.
• Since Quit India Movement Day falls one week before Indian Independence Day, people observe both these days with great excitement. There is no particular theme for celebration of Quit India Movement Day and the day celebrates the feeling of patriotism that lies inside each and every individual of the country.
