• பாஸ்போர்ட் தரவரிசை பட்டியல் 2023 / WORLD PASSPORT RANKING LIST 2023: உலக அளவில் வெளிநாட்டவர்க்கு எந்த அளவு நாடுகள் வரவேற்பை அளிக்கின்றன, விசா கட்டுப்பாடு இல்லாமல் எத்தனை நாடுகள் தங்கள் எல்லைக்குள் அனுமதிக்கின்றன. 
• சொந்த குடிமக்களை எந்தளவுக்குவெளிநாடுகளுக்கு சுதந்திரமாகச் செல்ல அந்தந்த நாடுகள் அனுமதிக்கின்றன என்பன போன்றவற்றை வைத்து, உலக பாஸ்போர்ட் தர வரிசைப் பட்டியல் வெளியிடப்படுகிறது.

• இதன்படி, சுற்றுலா பயணிகளுக்கு அதிகளவு வரவேற்பு அளிக்கும் நாடுகளின் பாஸ்போர்ட் பட்டியலில் சிங்கப்பூர் முதலிடத்திலும், கெர்மனி, இத்தாலி, ஸ்பெயின் ஆகிய நாடுகள் இரண்டாவது இடத்திலும் உள்ளன. 
• ஆஸ்திரியா, பின்லாந்து, பிராண்ச், ஜப்பான், லக்சம்பர்க், தென்கொரியா, சுவீடன் ஆகிய நாடுகள் மூன்றாவது இடம் பிடித்துள்ளன. டென்மார்க், அயர்லாந்து, நெதர்லாந்து, பிரிட்டன் ஆகியவை நான்காம் இடத்தில் உள்ளன.
• அதேபோல், பெல்ஜியம், செக் குடியரசு, மால்ட்டா, நியூசிலாந்து, நார்வே, போர்ச்சுக்கல், சுவிட்சர்லாந்து ஆகிய நாடுகள் ஐந்தாவது இடத்துக்கு வந்துள்ளன.
• ஆறாவது இடத்தில் ஆஸ்திரேலியா, அங்கேரி, போலந்து ஆகிய நாடுகளும், ஏழாவது இடத்தில் கனடா, கிரேக்கம் ஆகியவை, எட்டாவது இடத்தில் லித்துவேனியா, அமெரிக்கா ஆகிய நாடுகளும் உள்ளன. 
• லாட்வியா, ஸ்லோவாக்கியா, ஸ்லோவேனியா ஆகிய நாடுகள் ஒன்பதாவது இடத்திலும், எஸ்தோனியா, ஐஸ்லாந்து ஆகியவை பத்தாவது இடத்திலும் இருக்கின்றன.
• அமெரிக்கா முந்தைய பட்டியலில் இரண்டு இடங்கள் முன்னால் இருந்தது. பிரிட்டன் நாடு பிரெக்சிட்டுக்குப் பிறகு இரண்டு இடங்கள் தாவி, 2017ஆம் ஆண்டில் அது இருந்த இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. இந்த இரு நாடுகளுமே 2014ஆம் ஆண்டு தர வரிசைப் பட்டியலில் முதல் இடத்தில் இருந்தது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. 
• இந்த பாஸ்போர்ட் தரவரிசை பட்டியலில் இந்தியா, 87ஆவது இடத்திலிருந்து முன்னேறி, 80ஆவது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. இந்த தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில் மோசமான நிலையில் உள்ள நாடுகளாக, கொசோவா 94ஆவது இடத்திலும், லிபியா, இலங்கை ஆகியவை 95ஆவது இடத்திலும், வங்கதேசம் அதற்கடுத்தும், வடகொரியா 97ஆம் இடத்திலும், நேபாளம், பாலஸ்தீனப் பகுதி ஆகியவை 98ஆவது இடத்திலும், சோமாலியா, ஏமன் ஆகியவை 99ஆவது இடத்திலும் உள்ளன.
• பாகிஸ்தான் 100ஆவது இடத்திலும் சிரியா 101ஆவது இடத்திலும், ஈராக் 102ஆவது இடத்திலும், ஆப்கானிஸ்தான் 103ஆவது இடத்திலும் இருக்கின்றன.
• மொத்தம் 199 நாடுகள் தரவரிசைக்காக எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டு அவற்றுக்கு 227 பயண இலக்குகள் கணக்கில் எடுக்கப்பட்டு ஆய்வுக்கு உட்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.

• WORLD PASSPORT RANKING LIST 2023: The World Passport Ranking List is published based on how many countries welcome foreigners in the world, how many countries allow them to enter their borders without visa restrictions, and how many countries allow their own citizens to travel abroad freely. This list, produced by a company called Henley Potters, is called the Henley Passport Ranking.
• According to this, Singapore is on the first place in the passport list of the countries that welcome tourists the most, followed by Germany, Italy and Spain. Austria, Finland, France, Japan, Luxembourg, South Korea and Sweden have occupied the third place. Denmark, Ireland, Netherlands and Britain are in fourth place.
• Similarly, Belgium, Czech Republic, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal and Switzerland have come to the fifth place.
• Australia, Hungary and Poland are in sixth place, Canada and Greece are in seventh place, and Lithuania and USA are in eighth place. Latvia, Slovakia and Slovenia are in ninth place and Estonia and Iceland are in tenth place.
• The US was two places ahead of the previous list. Britain jumped two places post-Brexit to hold where it was in 2017. It is noteworthy that both these countries were ranked first in the ranking in 2014.
• India has moved up from 87th position to 80th position in this passport ranking list. The worst performing countries in this ranking list are Kosovo at 94th place, Libya and Sri Lanka at 95th place, followed by Bangladesh, North Korea at 97th place, Nepal and Palestinian Territory at 98th place, Somalia and Yemen at 99th place. Pakistan at 100th place, Syria at 101st place and Iraq 102 and Afghanistan at 103.
• A total of 199 countries were considered for ranking and 227 travel destinations were taken into account and studied.
