• பண வீக்கம் குறித்த உலக புள்ளியியல் அமைப்பின் அறிக்கை 2023 / WORLD STATISTICS ORGANIZATION REPORT ON MONETARY INFLATION 2023: உலக நாடுகள் கொரோனா பெருந்தொற்று பரவலால் கடும் பொருளாதாரம் சரிவை சந்தித்தது. 
• அதில் இருந்து மீள்வதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளை அந்தந்த நாடுகள் மேற்கொண்டு வந்த சூழலில், கடந்த ஆண்டு திடீரென உக்ரைன் மீதான ரஷியா படையெடுப்பு வளர்ச்சி அடைந்த நாடுகளையும் பாதித்தது. 
• இந்த நிலையில், உலக புள்ளியியல் அமைப்பு வெளியிட்டு உள்ள தகவலில்படி, அமெரிக்கா மற்றும் ஐரோப்பிய நாடுகளில் பணவீக்க விகிதங்கள், அந்நாடுகளின் சகிக்கும் திறனை காட்டிலும் அதிகரித்தது.
• கொரோனா பரவலுக்கு பின் பொருளாதார மீட்சிக்கு பல நாடுகள் போராடி வந்த சூழலில், உக்ரைன் பனிப்போரால் நிலைமை உலக பொருளாதாரம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டது. 
• அமெரிக்கா, இங்கிலாந்து மற்றும் ஐரோப்பிய பகுதிகளில், உணவு பணவீக்கம் முறையே 8.5 சதவீதம், 19.1 சதவீதம் மற்றும் 17.5 சதவீதம் என்ற அளவில் உள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• இதனிடையே லெபனான், வெனிசுலா, அர்ஜெண்டினா மற்றும் ஜிம்பாப்வே ஆகிய நாடுகள் முறையே 352 சதவீதம், 158 சதவீதம், 110 சதவீதம் மற்றும் 102 சதவீதம் என்ற அளவில் உணவு பணவீக்க விகிதங்களை கொண்டு உள்ளன.
• இவற்றில் 5 சதவீதத்திற்கு குறைவான உணவு பணவீக்கம் கொண்ட நாடுகளின் வரிசையில், கடைசி 6 இடங்களில் உள்ள நாடுகளில் ஒன்றாக இந்தியாவும் உள்ளது கவனிக்கத்தக்கது

• WORLD STATISTICS ORGANIZATION REPORT ON MONETARY INFLATION 2023: The countries of the world have experienced a severe economic collapse due to the spread of the Corona epidemic. 
• While the respective countries were taking measures to recover from it, Russia's sudden invasion of Ukraine last year affected the developed countries as well. In this situation, according to the information published by the World Statistics Organization, inflation rates in the United States and European countries have increased beyond the tolerance of those countries.
• While many countries were struggling for economic recovery after the spread of the Corona virus, the situation due to the Ukraine Cold War affected the global economy. In the US, UK and European regions, food inflation was reported at 8.5 per cent, 19.1 per cent and 17.5 per cent respectively. Meanwhile, Lebanon, Venezuela, Argentina and Zimbabwe have food inflation rates of 352 percent, 158 percent, 110 percent and 102 percent respectively.
• However, Professor Shamika Ravi, a member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council, said on Twitter that India is effectively managing food inflation rates. Along with this, he has attached the data on food inflation of various countries published by the World Statistical Organization as evidence. It is worth noting that India is one of the last 6 countries in the list of countries with food inflation below 5 percent.
