• MARTYRS DAY ESSAY IN TAMIL / தமிழில் தியாகிகள் தினம் பற்றிய கட்டுரை: ஷஹீத் திவாஸ் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படும் தியாகிகள் தினம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜனவரி 30 அன்று அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த நாள் தேசத்தின் தந்தை மகாத்மா காந்தியின் நினைவாக அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. 
• இந்நாளில் ஒவ்வொரு இந்தியனும் தேசத்துக்காக உயிர் தியாகம் செய்த சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரர்களுக்கு அஞ்சலி செலுத்துகிறோம். ஜனவரி 30 அன்று, காந்திஜி தனது பிரார்த்தனையின் போது நாதுராம் கோட்சேவால் படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்டார்.

தியாகிகள் தினத்தின் முக்கியத்துவம்

• நாடு முழுவதும் தியாகிகள் தினம் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. மகாத்மா காந்தி மற்றும் பிற சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரர்களுக்கு அஞ்சலி செலுத்தும் வகையில் இது அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. இறந்த சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரர்களின் நினைவாக இந்த நாள் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
• இது தவிர, இந்தியப் பிரதமர் மற்றும் பிற அரசியல் தலைவர்கள் ராஜ்காட்டில் (மகாத்மா காந்தியின் சுடுகாட்டில்) மலர் அஞ்சலி செலுத்துகின்றனர். 
• நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள பள்ளிகள் மற்றும் கல்லூரிகளில் இந்த நாளில் கருத்தரங்குகள், கட்டுரைப் போட்டிகள், வினாடி வினா போட்டிகள் நடத்தப்படுகின்றன.

நாம் ஏன் தியாகிகள் தினத்தை கொண்டாடுகிறோம்

• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜனவரி 30 மற்றும் மார்ச் 23 ஆகிய தேதிகளில் தியாகிகள் தினமாக கொண்டாடுகிறோம். தேசத் தந்தை மகாத்மா காந்தியின் மறைவை நினைவுகூரும் வகையில் மார்ச் 30ம் தேதி, பகத் சிங், சுக்தேவ் தாப்பர், சிவராம் ராஜகுரு ஆகிய 3 சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரர்களுக்கு மார்ச் 23ம் தேதி அஞ்சலி செலுத்தப்படுகிறது. மூன்று பேரும் ஆங்கிலேயர்களால் தூக்கிலிடப்பட்டனர்.

ESSAY ON MARTYRS DAY IN TAMIL

• Martyrs Day also known as Shaheed Diwas is observed on 30th of January every year. This day is observed in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. 
• On this day every Indian pays tribute to all those freedom fighters who have sacrificed their lives for the nation. On 30th January, Gandhi Ji was assassinated during his prayers by Nathuram Godse.

Significance of Martyrs Day 

• Martyrs Day is observed all across the country. It is observed to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi and other freedom fighters. This day is celebrated to remember the legacy of deceased freedom fighters.
• In addition to this, The Prime Minister of India and other political leaders pay floral tribute on Rajghat (crematorium ground of Mahatma Gandhi). Schools and colleges across the country, conduct seminars, essay competitions, quiz competitions on this day.

Why do we celebrate Martyrs' Day

• We celebrate Martyrs' day on 30th January and 23rd March every year. 30th March is to commemorate the death of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, & 23rd March is pay homage to 3 freedom fighters namely Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar & Shivaram Rajguru. The three men were hanged to death by the British.
