National Award for Alternative Skills - 6 selected from Tamil Nadu
- Six persons from Tamil Nadu have been selected for the National Award for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in 2020. AM Venkatakrishnan of Chennai Velachery, S. Yelumalai of Thiruvannamalai district, K. Dinesh of Kanathipuram Reddykuppam K. in the intellectually handicapped category and Manaksha Dantapani of Trichy district in the visually impaired category were selected as the best employees, self-employed and alternatively abled.

Success of fighter missile test
- In Rajasthan, anti-aircraft missiles have been successfully tested. The missiles are being manufactured and tested successfully.
